Hi, I'm Elizabeth.
I build products that untangle complexity.
Product Manager at Microsoft focused on platform governance, developer experiences, and enterprise-scale systems.
Building the future
From Developer to Product Leader
Elizabeth began her career building software, from web applications in Nairobi to engineering features at Spotify in Cairo, before discovering a passion for solving larger organizational and customer problems.
Today she leads product initiatives at Microsoft focused on permissions, governance, onboarding experiences, workflow automation, and platform modernization across Microsoft Graph and enterprise ecosystems.
She thrives on transforming messy, ambiguous processes into scalable systems that improve customer experiences and operational efficiency at enterprise scale.
Outside work, she's an adventurer at heart. Traveling across continents, hiking new trails, discovering cultures, and planning the next expedition.

- Aligned multiple stakeholder groups around a unified self-service strategy
- Defined self-service platform strategy and led product development
Impact
Product Manager
Modernizing Microsoft Graph Permissions Governance
Permissions lacked complete metadata and governance visibility, creating compliance gaps across 1,200+ permissions.
What I Did
- Led cross-functional modernization coordinating multiple engineering teams
- Integrated RBAC, RSC, and token-based authorization models
- Introduced scalable governance practices across the ecosystem

Large engineering organizations struggled to adopt a new API review process, risking fragmentation.
What I Did
- Program-managed migration of 158 workloads to new review process
- Led weekly governance reviews and dependency tracking
- Coordinated stakeholders and tracked execution to completion

Giving Back
Whether it's teaching Swahili, building with communities, or sharing what I know about AI, volunteering keeps me grounded and connected.
Teaching Swahili
Sharing my mother tongue with curious learners across borders, keeping culture alive through language.
Building Communities
From AIESEC projects in Rwanda to local initiatives, contributing hands-on wherever I can.
AI for Good
Sharing knowledge on AI and technology with communities that can benefit most from it.
The Next Chapter
I'm excited about opportunities to build products at global scale, solve complex platform challenges, and contribute to high-performing international teams.
I am particularly interested in product leadership opportunities across Europe, Australia, and other global technology hubs.
